MORE ABOUT MEDALLION INLAYS
Medallions are usually located below the tailpiece.
Standard Point, Further, Skylark, Tribute, or Exploiter body shapes
provide ample room. Smaller medallions are possible on shapes like
the Small Standard.
There are familiar medallions like Dire Wolf and
Rosebud, and then you step into the highly custom arena
of whatever you have in mind. When you want to design a
custom medallion for your build, send an email or call
to discuss your ideas. Once the concept
pencil sketches are approved, we will move on to making
the precise artwork for our inlay artists. After material
selection, we can then start hand-cutting the inlay.
You will receive several photos along the way.
Keep in mind that no matter how nice it looks in the
photos, we have been told repeatedly that they don’t compare to
the real thing in hand.
