Custom electronics can be as simple as swapping one
model's controls for another, like putting Signature
electronics in a Europa bass.
We often combine features of existing electronics
for a custom order. So you can add Q-switches to your
Darling guitar or a bass and treble control to an
Essence bass. You can kind of think of it like Legos, but
for your tone.
But custom electronics can also be much more; we have
the capability to engineer exact requirements for tone
and functionality. We can change the range of the
low-pass filters or Q function. For some customers
we’ve mounted their electronics in a rack-mount unit
and left the instrument with no controls at all.
