Alembic’s in-house machined brass hardware only gets better with a plated finish. Our plating is durable, beautiful, and complements the different wood finishes perfectly.

MORE ABOUT HARDWARE PLATING

Chrome or gold plating on your brass hardware not only can be beautiful, but it can eliminate the chore of polishing brass. When we do plated hardware, it’s not in a batch, but rather we prepare the hardware for just one instrument. We perform a complete setup, then disassemble the bridge and nut, and send the parts for plating after a labor-intensive polish and prep. When you have plated hardware on an Alembic, even the slots in the bridge saddles and nut are plated, which means more durability and no point for corrosion to start.
Currently we offer these hardware plating finishes: gold, chrome, nickel, and ruthenium.
